By Fontique EditorialPublished Updated
The Fontique comic text generator turns your words into an original comic-book title or action caption. Thick ink outlines, offset shadows, halftone texture, and controlled burst shapes give the lettering the energy of a printed panel while keeping the actual phrase clear. You can make a single POW, a character name, a chapter title, or a short event headline without relying on a fixed comic alphabet.
Pick Classic Ink for a traditional four-color print feel, Pop Burst for bright action lettering, or Retro Newsprint for a limited-palette vintage panel. The five presets change the ink, paper, and motion language while preserving your spelling and layout.
Use comic lettering in original character sheets, indie game prototypes, thumbnail titles, event posters, classroom materials, and social graphics. The exported image keeps its paper or burst background, so use it as a complete comic panel. Avoid requesting a named franchise logo; build a fresh visual identity from your own text instead.

FAQ
Comic Text Generator FAQ
Yes. Enter a word, character name, chapter title, or short action caption. The generator composes original lettering around your text instead of returning a fixed alphabet.
No. The presets use broad print and pop-art traits, not a specific franchise logo or character identity. Keep brand names and protected characters out of prompts unless you have the required rights.
Quick offers experimental transparent PNG in the studio. Transparency has been checked on two low-quality 1K examples, not separately on every style; smoke, glow, and fine detail can leave semi-transparent edges. Standard and Pro currently retain a background, and image edits do not preserve transparency. For predictable transparent lettering with bundled font shapes, use Text to PNG at /tools/text-to-png. It creates new text graphics and does not remove backgrounds from AI images.
Pop Burst and Action Slash have the strongest silhouette at small sizes. Keep the words short, use a wide ratio, and leave a clear margin around the outline so the shadow does not blend into the background.
Yes. Generated original lettering can be used in commercial thumbnails, posters, classroom materials, prototypes, and social graphics. Review any additional characters, quotes, or logos in your final composition separately.

What this is based on
A letterform shape is not copyrightable in the United States, but the font file that draws it and the brand name that uses it can still be protected — so Fontique renders original lettering as images and never redistributes a typeface.
