Tiny text is the internet's whisper. The Fontique tiny text generator converts regular letters into miniature Unicode characters: small caps that keep the shape of the alphabet at a reduced height, superscript letters that float above the line, and subscript letters that sink below it. Because they are characters rather than a font size, their smaller appearance can survive copying, though the destination font affects the result. Use it for short captions, bios, comments, and game display names that accept decorative characters. Nine results include Small Caps, Superscript, Subscript, Tiny Bubble, spaced variants, Tiny Mixed, and two digit-only conversions. Compare the output and its fallback notes before copying; some letters do not have an exact miniature equivalent. The converter is free and runs in your browser. If you need a small lettering generator that outputs an image rather than characters, our AI style generators produce complete PNG or JPEG artwork.

FAQ
Tiny Text Generator FAQ
The tiny text generator swaps each letter for a Unicode character that is drawn smaller by design: small capitals, superscript, or subscript. It is not a font size change, so the text stays tiny wherever it is pasted, even in fields that ignore formatting.
Unicode does not include a complete superscript or subscript alphabet. Missing forms fall back to a nearby character or the regular letter, and the result shows a note when a fallback is needed. Small Caps leaves X as a regular letter, so inspect the output if exact letter shapes matter.
Often not correctly. Screen readers may announce these as superscript symbols, read them one character at a time, or skip them. Treat tiny text as decoration and keep anything important, like names, dates, and links, in plain text so it stays accessible.
Yes. The converter is free, unlimited, and needs no account, and the output is plain text you can use in personal or business posts. Our AI image generators are separate: they include free credits at signup and cost 100 credits per Standard 1K image, 200 at 2K, or 400 at 4K.
This tool outputs text only. For a designed image, our AI lettering generators produce PNG or JPEG artwork with a background. For exact real-font lettering, including simple transparent text, use the free Text to PNG tool and check that the selected font supports your characters.

What this is based on
Styled Unicode letters were encoded for mathematics, not for bios — which is exactly why support varies by app and why some letters arrive as boxes.
The use of these alphabets to simulate styled text appearance in plain text environments is an unintended side effect. Putting these alphabets in Plane 1 rather than in Plane 0 was meant to discourage people from using these characters in this way.
