Sample details
deep scarlet liquid with bright wet highlights, medium rounded drips and a clean horror-poster silhouette
By Fontique EditorialPublished Updated
The Fontique blood font generator creates original horror lettering from your exact words. Letters are built from thick glossy liquid with rounded drips, stretched drops, and small highlights that make the material read as wet without hiding the counters. It is a controlled blood text effect for posters, thumbnails, party invitations, and fictional horror projects.
Start with Classic Red for the familiar slasher-poster look, then push toward Black Cherry, Toxic Green, or a restrained Dried Stain. The presets change the material, drip length, and light direction while preserving the spelling you entered. Keep the phrase short if you want tall drips; longer titles work best in a wide poster ratio.
Quick generation downloads as JPG. Choose Standard and PNG in the studio to download the lettering and its horror scene together. This page covers blood text, dripping text, gore lettering, and bloody font searches with one practical generator rather than a static alphabet.

FAQ
Blood Font Generator FAQ
No. The generator creates original dripping lettering from your text and does not reproduce a movie, game, or brand logo. Use licensed assets when a project calls for a specific protected title.
Quick offers experimental transparent PNG in the studio. Transparency has been checked on two low-quality 1K examples, not separately on every style; smoke, glow, and fine detail can leave semi-transparent edges. Standard and Pro currently retain a background, and image edits do not preserve transparency. For predictable transparent lettering with bundled font shapes, use Text to PNG at /tools/text-to-png. It creates new text graphics and does not remove backgrounds from AI images.
Use one or two short words, choose Classic Red or Clean Drip, and avoid placing very long drips over the counters of letters. A 16:9 or 3:2 ratio gives the title room to breathe.
Yes. The generated lettering works well for fictional horror posters, Halloween invitations, escape-room graphics, and themed social posts. Keep the surrounding imagery age-appropriate for your audience.
Blood text uses dark red, glossy horror material. Slime text uses brighter elastic green or candy colors and a playful surface. Switch to Toxic Green when you want that lighter slime direction.

What this is based on
A letterform shape is not copyrightable in the United States, but the font file that draws it and the brand name that uses it can still be protected — so Fontique renders original lettering as images and never redistributes a typeface.
