Glitch text uses combining marks and unusual Unicode characters to make a phrase feel corrupted, interrupted, or pulled from a broken screen. Compare seven treatments: Glitch, Corrupted, Static, Zalgo Lite, Struck Glitch, Faux Cyrillic, and Glitched Outline. Each uses a different combination of marks or substitute letters. Every result is generated in your browser and can be copied as plain text. That makes it useful for bios, game chat, album notes, role-play prompts, poster drafts, and short social captions. The same input produces the same result, but its appearance still depends on the destination font and app. This page offers fixed treatments; the Cursed Text tool has an intensity slider for adjustable marks. Use normal text next to decorative glitch text for names, instructions, and important keywords. For a complete distorted poster image, open an AI style page after you find the phrase you want.

FAQ
Glitch Text Generator FAQ
Glitch text combines ordinary characters with Unicode marks that appear above, below, or through the letters. The result looks like a corrupted digital signal while remaining copyable text.
Combining marks depend on the font and text renderer available on a device. Test the copied result in the destination app. Try Zalgo Lite for a lighter mark treatment, or Faux Cyrillic if you want substitute letters without stacked marks.
Some apps accept it in display names or bios, while strict username fields reject combining marks. Keep a plain-text fallback and test the result before changing a handle.
Not reliably. Screen readers may announce the combining marks or skip them. Keep important information in normal text and use glitch styling as a decorative layer.
This tool creates copyable Unicode text. AI style pages create designed images with their background included. For simple transparent lettering in a real font, use the free Text to PNG tool and check its character coverage; it does not remove backgrounds from AI images.

What this is based on
Styled Unicode letters were encoded for mathematics, not for bios — which is exactly why support varies by app and why some letters arrive as boxes.
The use of these alphabets to simulate styled text appearance in plain text environments is an unintended side effect. Putting these alphabets in Plane 1 rather than in Plane 0 was meant to discourage people from using these characters in this way.
