Fontique went live on 11 Sep 2026 and now runs 38 generator pages — 32 of them backed by image models with 160 material presets between them, plus 6 free Unicode tools that never touch a server. It exists because the useful half of “font generator” searches are not really about fonts at all: someone wants their name in flames for a thumbnail, or wants bold letters that survive being pasted into a bio.
Those are two different jobs, so the site does them with two different mechanisms and says which is which on every page. The AI styles produce a picture you download. The Unicode tools produce characters you copy. Neither one gives you a font file, and no page pretends otherwise.

Editorial standards
How these pages are made

Copy is written before the pictures exist
Every style page is drafted from the search question it answers, then the sample renders are produced to match — not the other way round. That is why the 190 answers across the catalog address things like character limits and Android fallbacks rather than restating the page title.

Sample renders are unretouched
All 99 example images on the site came out of the same studio you use, at the same settings, with the preset named in the caption. Nothing is upscaled, cleaned up or swapped for a hand-made mock-up. When a model spells a word badly, we change the prompt and re-render rather than fix it in an editor.

Prices and latencies are read from the code
The credit costs, resolutions and render times printed on every page are generated from the model catalog at build time instead of typed into the copy, so a page cannot quote a price we no longer charge.

Pop-culture pages say what they are
16 pages describe a look associated with a show, band or creator. Each one is an original interpretation of a style, carries a visible trademark notice, and never reproduces a logo or redistributes a typeface.

A letterform shape is not copyrightable in the United States, but the font file that draws it and the brand name that uses it can still be protected — so Fontique renders original lettering as images and never redistributes a typeface.

Fontique is an independent product, not a division of a type foundry or an AI lab. The catalog is written and maintained as one editorial set under the Fontique Editorial byline, which is why pages are credited to the team rather than to invented individual authors. Questions and corrections reach a human via the Contact page.
No. Fontique renders an image of your words — a PNG at 1K, 2K or 4K, with a transparent background if you want one. Nothing is installed on your computer and no typeface is redistributed. If you need editable, resizable type for a print job, hire a lettering artist or licence a font from its foundry.
Two, both selected for how accurately they spell: gpt-image-2 on the Standard tier (about 45 seconds, 1 credit at 1K) and nano-banana-pro on Pro (about 22 seconds, 4 credits at 2K, richer materials and lighting). Every sample image on the site names the tier that made it.
Yes — commercial use is included with every credit pack, on thumbnails, merchandise, client work and print. The exception is the obvious one: a page describing a look associated with a brand does not grant you rights to that brand’s name or logo, and that is a trademark question rather than a copyright one.
No. Credits are sold as one-time packs — 100 for $4.90, 300 for $12.90, 800 for $29 — and each pack stays valid for 90, 180 or 365 days. Signing up includes free credits so you can test a render before paying anything.
